- REQUIREMENTS AND INSTRUCTIONS TO LOAD:
- 1. You will need a 286 or better machine with 1.5 meg
- available on your hard disk and an ega/vga monitor.
- You will also need either a 3 1/2 inch, or a 1.2 HIGH
- DENSITY 5 1/4 inch diskette drive
- 2. To load HOTROD HARRY you must unzip hotrod.zip into
- the directory of your choice on your hard drive, using the
- readily available PKUNZIP. When it finishes, start
- HOTROD.BAT.

- OBJECT OF THE GAME:
- Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is
- to aquire the parts and build a street rod, then go to
- the NSRA Nats East in York Pa. If you blow it, we will
- of course disavow any knowlege of your existence.

- INSTRUCTIONS:
- 1. Just look around and think about what you might need
- need to accomplish the job at hand.
- 2. The "F" keys have special uses:
- F1- help
- F2- inventory
- F3- save game
- F4- restart game
- F5- restore a saved game
- F9- speed control
- F10- quit game
- 3. The arrow keys make Harry move in each direction.
- Pushing the same arrow again stops him.
- 4. As noted above, you can save your game. It is
- recommended that you save often using at least two
- save names in case you mess up Harry's chance to build
- a hotrod for himself.
- 5. Try keying in instructions such as look, get, build,
- drive, open, take, etc. linked with a noun such as door,
- parts, around, etc.
